Senior Dogs Need Play Time

Senior Dogs Need Play Time

As our dogs get older (senior) they still need exercise to help keep blood flowing.

Good blood stimulation helps reduce joint stiffness which can be painful due to arthritis.

It’s a great way to prevent weight again, since as they get older, metabolism slows down.

Keeping your senior furry friend active helps their brain stay active which can stave off dementia.

Senior dogs still enjoy life and play time. Giving them the gift of play, is giving them that extra bit of love they so deserve.

Here we have a great selection of toys that can be the perfect fit for your elderly pooch.

Here is Racheal, she was about 10 years old in this picture. She never lost her love for play and walks and food of course:-)

I have loved animals since I was a small child. My father was allergic to all cats and dogs,so hard as it was for me, we could not have any pets. Once I was on my own, I adopted cats and dogs I found on the streets of Atlanta. Some I adopted from a shelter, but mostly I found them. My love for four legged friends continues to grow. I truly love seeking out not only new products that make their life better, but also learning more about them and best ways to care and keep them healthy and happy!
